Before moving to Edmonton together for school, the Bride was introduced to Lauren through a mutual friend. Relying on each other for late night studying solidified the ground work they layed in Calgary and allowed this fast friendship to be a lasting one.
Groomsman
The Groom met Will in the Fire Department in 2016. During the long training process they spent many nights going over medical terminology and working on random projects. Though the training is over the projects never cease.
Bridesmaid
The Bride and Leanne have a long history, their mothers having met in “Mommy and Me” classes in 1995, becoming like a second family for the Bride. With their shared love of wrestling and hiking, and sharing a house in Edmonton it’s not hard to see why they’ve been best friends since they were in diapers.
Groomsman
Justin and the Groom met in 2016 before the fitness test for the Fire Department. They both showed up early with a coffee and got to talking and realized they both work in the marine industry. What they didn't know is that they were going to be at sister stations. Since then they have all become like family.
Bridesman
The Bride met Clayton through a mutual friend while dancing at Ranchmans, quickly becoming their go-to sushi and dance partners when the Bride was in Calgary. With all those hours together their furry friends couldn’t help but get caught up in the spell and to this day you’ll be met with excited barks and mournful howls if either pup hears the name of their own best fur-end without seeing them.
Groomswoman
The Groom met Chelsea in the Fire Department in 2016. She has always been the more sensible one in the group and regularly gets referred to as the "mom". During the grooms 2020 deployment she spearheaded the house search and found the property for him. Without Chelsea the bride and groom wouldn't be building the place they call home.

The Bride met Duncan on HMCS Fredericton in 2019. They became best friends through many a foreign port adventure on deployment in 2020 and continue to have adventures on the east coast!
Groomsman
The Navy brought the Groom and Tim together during a refit of HMCS Fredericton in 2018. Tim is partly to blame for the bride and groom meeting. Tim had invited a few friends out for wing night at our local pub in which the bride joined in. Little did anyone know Mitch was there with his friends from the fire department. On his was out Mitch ended up joining them and properly met Caitlyn.
Bridesman
The Bride met Braden through dancing and once they realized how close they lived to each other would go out almost every weekend. They often would talk on Braden's drives home from work and he would spend many a holiday with the bride and her family. I always told Braden he would make the best bridesdude, in honour of his memory there will be an empty file on Caitlyn's side. https://suicideprevention.ca/

The Groom and Bradley met after the 2020 deployment when he came to Halifax to surprise Caitlyn, his sister. Bradley and the Groom have bonded over their shared love of firearms and the outdoors.
