Ours is a Tale as Old as The Internet. We met on Match.com and are sort of upset we haven't been asked to be in a commercial yet...but that's beside the point. We have spoken every single day since the first message Mitch sent Allison in March of 2017. Although our conversations were random and often goofy, we quickly found many common interests and a good balance with each other. We had our first date on Good Friday, 2017 at the Drunken Fish Sushi Restaurant. We were both extremely nervous, even though we had been messaging for weeks before meeting, but as soon as we met everything seemed to fall into place. The conversation was easy, we laughed til we both cried, and we shut the place down. We both knew right away that we had a connection that made the distance between us worth the drive--Mitch living in Troy, Allison in St. Louis City. Since that first date, we have been on countless other dates, have shut down many restaurants together, have gone on two amazing vacations, have spent time with our wonderful families, and have spent every single day getting to know each other more and more. The decision to get married was an easy one. We are best friends and we are so excited to write the rest of our story together.
