Road to Recovery

Hi everyone, My name is Chloe, and along with my husband Mitch, I'm reaching out to share our story with you. Just three months after our wedding, we experienced a life-changing event due to a road traffic accident caused by black ice. Our truck spun off the highway and rolled several times, resulting in severe injuries for me. I was ejected from the vehicle and airlifted to the nearest hospital, where I underwent a 6-hour emergency surgery to reconstruct and reinforce my spine. The journey since then has been filled with challenges and miracles. I survived fourteen fractured ribs, a dislocated sternum, and two pleural effusions, and I'm now facing the reality of life as a paraplegic, navigating the world in a wheelchair. Despite these challenges, Mitch and I remain hopeful, leaning on our faith in Jesus and the incredible support of our family and friends. For the past six months, we've managed with our savings, but now we're reaching out for assistance. We desperately need to modify our home to be wheelchair accessible, particularly in the bathroom, entryways, and common areas. Mitch is determined to do much of the work himself, using his skills and strength. Your support would mean the world to us. Funds raised will go directly towards ongoing medical expenses, rehabilitation, necessary home modifications, and adaptations to our vehicle. Every donation, no matter the size, will help us achieve greater independence and quality of life. If you're unable to contribute financially, please consider sharing our story and keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. Your kindness and generosity have already touched our hearts in countless ways. Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story and for any support you can offer. Together, we believe in miracles and know that with your help, we can continue to overcome these challenges and build a fulfilling future together. With heartfelt gratitude, Chloe and Mitch Please see registry tab above
