If you want to go rafting, duckying, fly fishing, or get some kayak instruction while you're in the area, ERA is wonderful! It's a small, locally owned outfitter that is very flexible and accommodating - this is where we've worked for the past several years, there's no one better to get you on the river!
Amazing spot to rent paddleboards, enjoy a quiet lake, and see a beautiful sunset! The cafe is BYOB and an amazing view - we've spent many anniversaries here.
Great spot to hike, mountain bike (pretty chill), and walk your dog - all lake front, with a couple of rope swings along the way.
Cute local farm by the river, known for their cider, produce, and DreamWhips!
Start at the NOC and go to the general store, cross silvermine road and you'll see the trailhead. Wonderful hike but on the steeper side, out and back, no dogs allowed (technically)
Great way to see the area, learn a little history, and experience the fall colors. Especially good for folks with limited mobility and/or kids.
Great spot to hang out by the lake, swim, and read a book
