Is there a taxi?

Answer

There is one taxi service in town. Called "Rocky Mountain Taxi". Rocky Mountain Taxi # 719-966-2005 They are a first come first serve basis by phone call only. Usually stops running about 1 A.M. Keep in mind Poncha Pass CO is about 15- 20 minutes away from Salida CO where the hotels are.

Where Can I stay over night?

Answer

Our Reception will have plenty of Room for Camping. (Your options are to get a hotel or air b&b in town. Or if you want to you can pop a tent or Car Camp with the after party.) Please book ahead of time for hotels or Air B&Bs. We are in a small tourist town and they tend to book up fast. We have recommendations of places to stay under the "Travel button".

Do we have to bring our own Camping gear?

Answer

Yes, I would recommend bringing a few layers of clothes for night time, a rain jacket and a change of clothing. Also a tent, blankets, pillows and a head lamp to see at night.

Answer
