Misty and John spent their child hood years 2 houses down from each other in North Smithfield, growing in friendship. They secretly had crushes on each other. John finally took the risk on his first kiss. He went in and planted his lips against hers, Misty immediately returned the kiss.... with a slap across the face. The two went their separate ways as young teens and experienced the remainder of their young adult lives. July 14, 2018 the two reconnected at the North Smithfield High School fireworks. Misty being aware John would be there was very nervous. When John noticed Misty had joined her brother and family at the fireworks his heart began to race...... They didn’t actually speak until the fireworks were over. Misty teased and busted Johns chops all the way to the cars. They both left thinking this was a one time thing. Misty thought of a plan to get the two of them together again and John received a text from Tommy later saying "Jayce wanted a play date?" John texted Misty immediately to arrange a play date for the kids the very next day. The two continued to text and speak on the phone. John asked Misty out on a date for July 20th and they have been inseparable ever since.
