Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is cocktail attire, such as a dress or slacks with a button-down or blouse. Jackets and ties are great too, but not required!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

We expect the weather to be in the high 70s, low 80s. The beautiful surrounding trees will provide plenty of shade during the ceremony. Forest House Lodge has air conditioning and fans to cool our guests in the evening.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate our wedding with friends and family, but due to our budget we will only be able to accommodate those addressed specifically on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Is there parking on site?

Answer

Yes, free parking is available at The Forest House Lodge! If you are staying at Springhill Suites in Auburn, CA, we have a shuttle to bring you to and from the venue. If you are staying at Miner's Camp, it is walking distance to the venue. Feel free to leave your car at Miner's Camp.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We listed 4 pm on our wedding invitation. You may come as early as 3:30 pm for a pre-ceremony gathering with appetizers on the main floor of the lodge. The gathering will last about an hour. Shuttles will start to pick up guests at 4:30 pm. The ceremony starts at 5:00 pm.

How can we get to the ceremony site?

Answer

The ceremony is located at Grand Sierra Point and does not have a listed address. There will be shuttles to deliver guests to and from the ceremony.

When does the Shuttle leave from Springhill Suites in Auburn?

Answer

The first shuttle will leave Springhill Suites at 2:30 pm. The second shuttle will leave at 3:30 pm. Please meet in front of the main entrance.

When will the shuttle return to Springhill Suites in Auburn?

Answer

The shuttle will depart from Forest House Lodge at 9 pm, 10 pm, 11 pm and 12 am. Please arrive on time. The shuttle will leave promptly at the times listed.
