This is a story about 2 friends that came together at the right time to share God’s purpose! To simplify it….. they met at work! They quickly became friends and eventually became a spades tandem that would dominate anyone who challenged them lol. Over the next year or so, they began to talk more and more…and the next thing you know, they were giving each other advice on everything under the sun! It eventually got to a point where they started sharing personal stories! And it was thru those stories that Mike felt like Missy was thee perfect partner, but got cold feet! Mike eventually asked Missy out on a date that turned into her calling him up one early Saturday morning which led to her pulling up on him later that evening! Mike decided to WOW her by showcasing his culinary skills that led to him cooking her a nice juicy steak, some decadent roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and some beautifully grilled citrus asparagus! Oh you thought that food was the way to only a man’s heart? Think again! After that, they began to become the closest of friends and just vibe together and laugh together all the time all the while sharing intimate moments with each other here and there! It wasn’t until one day after sharing gospel music playlists that they realized that they shared the same faith and both wanted to have a stronger relationship with God! They began a spiritual journey together that involved going to church together and having devotion every morning, even if they weren’t in the same place! It would bring them closer than ever and teach them more than they could imagine! It was then that Mike knew just the woman he was dealing with! A God fearing woman…a woman who would stand on every word she says….a woman who values what it means to be in a relationship where you put God first…a loving, caring, devoted mother…someone that he knew was perfect for him and tailored for him! They started spending more and more time together and to them, all the time and effort they put in just felt like confirmation! So……he put a ring on it lol! Mike wanted to live out his forever with who he now knows will be his forever and a day…AMEN!!!
