Tie-the-Knot Welcome Party

Welcome to Cleveland! Help us kick off the weekend with a casual gathering at the historic Hermit Club in downtown Cleveland. Light appetizers and drinks will be served. For those interested in a heartier meal beforehand, consider dining at the Hofbrauhaus, which is connected to the Hermit Club and offers a wide variety of German food and beer. https://hofbrauhauscleveland.com/ Note: A rehearsal dinner for family and wedding party will take place upstairs and will join the downstairs party once finished. FUN FACT: Located in the heart of Cleveland’s theater district, the Hermit Club is the nation’s oldest continuously operating private club devoted to amateur performing arts. Missy's family have been members since she was little (she was an elf in their annual holiday party!) and they celebrate Christmas Eve at the club every year. Adults only please

Complimentary valet also provided at the 12th street entrance. Coat Check Provided Adults only please FUN FACT: This isn't the first time that Missy will be wearing a white gown at The Union Club! In 2000, Missy and bridesmaid Katherine Hollingsworth were debutantes at The Recreation League of Cleveland's Assembly Ball, a tradition that started in 1937 and continues to this day.

Before you head out of town, join us for coffee, a light bite and a final hug. Please note, no photography is allowed in the club! Enter via the wrought-iron gate off Prospect Avenue Kids are welcome FUN FACT: The Tavern Club is one of Cleveland's oldest private social organizations. It was founded in 1892-93 by a group of young men, primarily from the Union Club, who wanted a meeting place "uptown" surrounded by open spaces. The Tavern Club is a men's-only club, the exception being the evening after Thanksgiving when they host the annual Father-Daughter-Tea. Missy's dad is a member and while we can't divulge too many club secrets, Missy and Rebecca can confirm that there is certainly no tea served at this party!
