What is the best way to get to Nags Head?

Answer

If you fly, Nags Head is a ~1.5 hour drive from the Norfolk International airport to the beach. You can rent a car, schedule an Uber, or book a private car service. We suggest coordinating travel with other wedding guests to minimize costs from the airport to the beach!

What are accommodation options in Nags Head?

We have reserved a room block at the Holiday Inn Express in Nags Head (use code "JEN") for a discounted group rate. There are also a ton of historic short term rental properties you can choose to explore!

Will we provide transportations to / from wedding events?

Answer

Yes! Since many guests will be staying in rental properties scattered around OBX, we will coordinate transportation from the Holiday Inn Express on both Friday and Saturday evenings. Ubers can sometimes be hard to get on the island, so we suggest you walk or Uber to the Holiday Inn Express to take a shuttle.
