Monongahela Incline
Start at the bottom station in Station Square and take a ride up to Mt. Washington- the best view to overlook the beautiful city of Pittsburgh!
Point State Park
Enjoy a walk to the "point" of where the 3 Rivers meet- Monongahela, Ohio, and Allegheny. You'll be greeted by the beautiful fountain and view of Heinz Field across the river.
Strip District
Walk Penn Avenue (between 16th-23rd street) to discover the rich history of Pittsburgh traditional food culture, along with Pittsburgh street vendors scattered throughout. Address is for Pennsylvania Macaroni Co.- a Pittsburgh Italian staple. Stop in to taste their homemade wine and enjoy some of their fresh meat & cheeses. Check out other shops restaurants along the strip- Roland's (casual-style restaurant), S&D's Polish Deli (stock up on your pierogis), and Mancini's (best pepperoni rolls!), are just to name a few!
Iron Born Pizza
Also located in the Strip- but one of our favorite pizza spots. Detroit-style pizza.
Spoonwood Brewing Company
A little outside of the downtown area, in Bethel Park, but worth the drive! Best beer in Pittsburgh. Make sure you try "Smoke & Oats"- it's our favorite.
