Our Story
The story goes that Brett & Missy met on Lox Club in May '22. Unfortunately Brett didn't live in NYC, but every time he would come for work, they would grab 🍷. Was this a date? 🤷♂️ but the 2 times they met, Brett expensed it. And on the 2nd date, he asked Missy how dating is in NYC as he was "going to move to NYC soon".
Fast forward to May '23, and Brett moves back. The first 2 were maybe dates. But after some swerving & chatting, Missy & Brett decided to give it a go.
Together, they traveled the world (Banff, London, Paris, Calgary & more) and moved in together Nov '24.
Brett wanted to live together for a year before proposing, so come Nov '25 Missy started asking (literally anyone & everyone) when he was going to propose.
In Dec. '25, pretending he had a company holiday party, Brett asked Missy to meet him for a drink. Little did Missy know, he was waiting at the end of the staircase to ask an important question. Missy said YES and they can't wait to start their lives together.
