Maria and Nicholas first met in October of their freshman year of high school at a friend’s party. Though they attended different schools, their connection grew quickly. Many of Maria and Nicholas’s earliest memories were spent cheering each other on at football games or at the CBA soccer field, going to the movies, and spending weekends with friends. After high school, they navigated a long-distance relationship while Maria attended the University of Delaware and Nicholas went to Elon University. Despite the miles between them, they stayed close and continued building a strong foundation for their future together. In 2020, they moved into their first apartment in Red Bank, where they enjoyed countless date nights and settled into everyday life as roommates and best friends. The following year, they welcomed their first dog, Scout, and in 2023, they became homeowners, buying their first house in Tinton Falls. One year later, during a wine tour in Sonoma, California, Nicholas proposed — and Maria said yes! In 2025, they expanded their little family once again with the addition of their second pup, Luna. Now, after years of love, growth, and unforgettable memories, Maria and Nicholas are so excited to celebrate their wedding day on May 29, 2026, surrounded by all the people who have supported their journey along the way.
