What should we wear?

Answer

The Ceremony and Reception will be held outside in a grassy area. Non heeled shoes are suggested. Jackets or Sweaters are suggested as the sun goes down.

Where should we park?

Answer

There is plenty of parking onsite at the Cabin. Carpooling is suggested, but there is more than enough space for our wedding guests.

When should we arrive?

Answer

Please arrive 10-15 min prior to Ceremony. Ceremony is expected to start at 5:30pm.

Can we Uber or Lyft back to our hotel from Venue?

Answer

There are no options for cabs or Ubers, so please plan accordingly

How is the trip into Slatyfork, WV?

Answer

No matter the route that you take to arrive to Slatyfork WV, there is no cell reception a good hour to 2 hours prior to arrival. Please plan to set your GPS prior to your trip, or bring a map. Once you arrive in WVA, most of the trip is up and down the mountains. Please keep that in mind. When you turn onto the road that leads you up to the cabin, it is all up hill for a good mile. It will take you around 5-10 minutes to get to the cabin from the main road. Please look for wedding signs to help direct you.

Where is the closest grocery store or gas station.

Answer

There is a gas station right outside of Slatyfork, and one in Snowshoe. The closest grocery store is around 45 minutes away in Marlinton, WV. The closest Walmart is in Elkins, WV around an hour away.
