Take Two
An entire year goes by... Bryan and Jasmin still follow each other on Instagram. One day, Jasmin posts a quote on her story, and Bryan replies to it through DM. That single message kicks off a week of nonstop conversation. They’re messaging all day, every day—catching up, joking around, and reconnecting like no time had passed. Now, Bryan—being Bryan—remembers that Jasmin definitely still had his number. So in a very on-brand, slightly petty move, he casually tells her, “Just text me,” knowing it would force her to acknowledge the ghosting that happened a year earlier. (Petty, yes... strategic? Also yes.) From there, the texting doesn’t stop. Bryan invites Jasmin to visit him at his new place in Florida for a weekend trip. On the bright side, they already kinda knew each other—they’d talked, met briefly, and at least knew the other was a real person. On the not-so-bright side... they’d never actually hung out in person. So yes, there was still a tiny chance one of them could’ve been a serial killer. Luckily... they weren’t.
New Beginnings
They’ve been through a lot together in a short time. After meeting each other’s families—and fitting in effortlessly—Bryan left for a 3-month deployment. Once he returned, Jasmin made a big move at the end of the summer: relocating from New Mexico to Florida, starting a new job, and beginning a new chapter together. Now, they live under one roof with their two fur babies: Smokey, an energetic puppy full of personality, and Melo, a sweet old soul who keeps the balance. They’ve made new friends, deepened old friendships, and even shared their first cruise together—to Alaska! The journey continued when they got engaged, surrounded by people who mean the world to them. The love they have for each other continues to grow and deepen every day, as they navigate life side by side.
