Nam and Michelle met as coworkers at a part time job back in high school, April 2014. Infatuated by his Nike SB Janoskis and skinny khaki joggers, she immediately called dibs when Nam came in for his interview at Bambu. After a couple of years of being friends, Nam mustered up the courage to ask Michelle on a date and unbeknownst to them, they would eventually become College Sweethearts. From late nights in the library, to sharing a university parking pass, an infinite amount of lunches at First Chinese BBQ after exams, to ultimately sitting next to each other on graduation day, becoming each other's best friend was without a doubt an understatement. Fast forward 6 months of long distance, many MANY 6ft and under basketball leagues, stepping foot on over 35+ new destinations together, and even raising a Corgi together named Boba... On December 3rd of 2024, Nam chose to muster up that same courage he had in 2015 — except this time, it wasn’t to take her Pho 95 again. But instead, Nam asked Michelle for her hand in marriage at Lake Tekapo, New Zealand where they promised a lifetime of commitment to each other. With many more adventures and milestones to be experienced together, our biggest one yet is to be celebrated this year on October 17th.
