Steph and Wes found each other through Match.com. Steph was drawn to Wes, a fine wine connoisseur who has always wanted to run a marathon... HA, and Wes was excited to meet Steph a veteran social sports player... uh huh. After some back and forth the two of them met at Bar Pilar in DC for drinks. That first date lasted 5 hours and was the first of many. From museums to dive bars over the next few months Steph and Wes quickly got to know each other and both felt they were in for good. Wes realized things were going well when Steph (a proud DC city girl) started spending more time in the land far far away named Virginia, and Steph figured she was onto something when Wes commonly skipped softball for Thursday date nights. And here we are... three and a half years later. Wes not an inch closer to running a marathon and knowing nothing about wine... and Stephanie long since retired from social sports, but both in love.
