Question

Do I need a passport to visit Mexico?

Answer

Yes! Please make sure you have a valid passport. Mexico requires that your passport be valid at least six (6) months beyond the date of your trip (i.e., the passport must be valid through June 2022). To apply for a passport, and for all passport-related questions, please visit https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply.html

Question

What, if any, are the Covid-19 vaccination/testing requirements for traveling to and from Mexico?

Answer

You are not required to be vaccinated for travel to Mexico. Mexico currently does not have any testing requirements to enter Mexico either. The U.S. requires anyone traveling into the U.S. to provide COVID-19-related documentation and contact tracing information. If you're fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (18 and up): 1. A negative PCR or antigen test within 3 days (72 hours) before your flight into the U.S. or proof of recovery if you've recovered from COVID-19 in the last 90 days 2. Proof of an approved COVID-19 vaccination If you're not fully vaccinated/unvaccinated against COVID-19 (18 and up) 1. Provide a negative PCR or antigen test within 1 day (24 hours) before your flight into the U.S. or proof of recovery if you've recovered from COVID-19 in the last 90 days Hotel Xcaret will offer a free antigen test for up to 2 guests per room. Additional tests are approximately $20 each.

Question

What is December Mexico weather like?

Answer

Historical average is low 68F and high 82F. It doesn't matter, you are at the beach!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Check out our "Wedding Events" tab for each event's recommend attire. We want you to feel comfortable, and keep in mind that the ceremony and reception will be on sand!

Question

Should we bring the kids?

Answer

In order to allow all guests, including parents, a weekend of relaxation, we have chosen for our wedding to be an adults only occasion. Although the majority of the rooms we have blocked out are in the adults only section of the resort, there are some options for rooms that do allow kids if you’d like to bring them along for the vacation and have alternate arrangements for them on the wedding night. We thank you for your understanding.

Question

Are gifts required?

Answer

The most important thing is to have you with us on our special day. No gifts are needed or expected. But if you wish to contribute in some other way, we will add a few items to our registry.
