Where is the wedding ceremony and reception taking place?

What time is the ceremony? What time is the reception?

Answer

Ceremony begins at 4:00, with reception to follow immediately around 4:45 Shuttle service will be provided from the Boulderado. Exact times TBD.

What is the dress code? What should I wear?

Answer

Suggested attire is mountain dressy casual, but come as you are! Spring in Colorado is truly unpredictable. Your trip might see sunny days in the 70’s, or a few inches of snow - or BOTH! Days are often mild, but nights will definitely be chilly. Button-downs, boots, shawls, and long casual dresses are possibilities. We’ll update weather predictions here as the week gets closer, but we encourage planning with layers in mind.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We are planning for an outdoor creekside ceremony! Reception will take place in a heated tent attached to small indoor space.

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple will be taking pictures with the couple. Appetizers and open will be available at this time, plus a few of our favorite board games. Welcome speech will start around 5:30.

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue(s)?

Answer

Shuttle Service will be provided to and from the Hotel Boulderado. There is plenty of convenient parking at the venue. More details to come. Other transportation will not be provided for the weekend.

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

On Friday evening, Mike & Michelle will be hanging at a casual spot near the Boulderado. Come say hello if you’re in town early! Mark & Carol Grindle will host a farewell Brunch on Monday morning, after the wedding. We are so grateful to those who have traveled to celebrate with us!

Can I bring my partner?

Answer

We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation, including chldren. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at mishandmikeg@gmail.com

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Boulder Creek by Wedgewood is fully wheelchair accessible. Golf cart shuttle provided from parking lot for those in need.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

We will have a variety of appetizers and main dishes to choose from, served across several stations. Open Bar provided.

We definitely want to make sure you enjoy your time and meal on our wedding day, please let us know when you RSVP about your dietary needs.

Yes! Please consider tipping our phenomenal servers and bartenders in cash!

You can find our registry at the Registry tab at the top of this page. Reach out privately if you need our address.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to take and share pictures. Look out for the QR code to our shared album!
