Do you have a wedding registry?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. As we begin this new chapter together, we have decided not to create a traditional registry. For guests who wish to give a gift, a monetary gift would be sincerely appreciated.

How do I get to the venue?
Answer
The venue is Heritage Estate Winery in Barrie, Ontario. From Toronto: The drive is approximately 1 hour to 1 hour and 20 minutes depending on traffic. Take Highway 400 North toward Barrie, then follow local directions to Heritage Estate Winery. From Barrie: The venue is about a 15-minute drive from downtown Barrie. Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft, as well as local taxis, are available in the area. We will arrange with taxi services to ensure there are enough taxis to bring everyone home. For overseas guests, please get in touch with Mishal and Sundave, who will help arrange.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
Yes, parking will be available at the venue. Guests are welcome to leave their vehicles overnight and return the following morning to pick them up before 11:00 AM.

Are there hotels nearby?
Answer
Yes, there are several hotels near the venue. Please visit the "Travel" tab at the top of the website for hotel recommendations and booking details, including a wedding rate for our guests.

Can I bring a +1 or my children?
Answer
Due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate guests who are formally listed on the invitation. Please refer to your invitation for the exact number of guests included in your RSVP.

Is the food halal?
Answer
Yes, the food served at the wedding will be halal. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know when RSVP'ing

Please let us know about any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we will do our best to accommodate them.

Will there be drinks at the reception?
Answer
Yes! There will be an open bar at the reception. Please enjoy responsibly and plan ahead for transportation if you intend to drink.

When will the event end?
Answer
We plan on partying till late at night. Approximately till 1:30 AM, so bring your best dancing shoes.

Will transportation be available?
Answer
Uber, Lyft, and local taxis operate in Barrie and the surrounding area. We will also be coordinating with local taxi companies to help ensure there are enough rides available at the end of the night. If you plan on drinking, we encourage arranging a ride home in advance.

Are there other wedding events?
Answer
Yes! We have several celebrations planned throughout the wedding weekend. To see which events you are invited to, please enter your name in the RSVP section of the website. Once you submit, you will be able to view the events included in your invitation and RSVP accordingly.

What airport should out-of-town guests fly into?
Answer
The closest airport is Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), which is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from Barrie. If you are flying in—especially from overseas—please reach out to Mishal or Sundave. We would be happy to help you plan your trip, coordinate transportation, and assist with logistics to make your visit as smooth as possible.
