6:30 pm - 11:30 pm
Traditional Indian Attire
The word “Sangeet" means music, but when it is used as a term to describe a celebratory event during an Indian wedding it translates to "Music Night" or "Musical Party". The Sangeet is a celebration of the union of not only the couple but the bonding of both families. Please join us for a night filled with Indian food, music and dancing. We encourage all to wear traditional Indian attire (see FAQs for suggestions), but colorful cocktail attire is also welcome.
6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Black-Tie: Wear floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses, tuxes or dark suits with neckties or bowties.
Parking is available at the venue, but transportation to and from the Sheraton Parsippany is provided for guests staying at the hotel. A shuttle schedule will be provided closer to the wedding date. The ceremony will begin at 7:00 PM, however, we would appreciate if guests arrive at the venue at 6:30 PM. The ceremony will be device-free and we request that all cellphones, tablets and cameras be turned off once you are seated.
