I couldn't start this list without the AGO; it's a perfect afternoon to discover the areas around Queen West while browsing through this institution. I highly recommend seeing the works of Lawren Harris as represented with the lightscape of the AGO's new design.
Kensington Market and adjacent Chinatown are a perfect place to people watch, walk and shop for some great vintage treasures. While there hop one street over to Chinatown for lunch.
Nothing in Toronto is more hotly contested than the place to go for Chinese food. King Noodle is an institution and a perfect spot to fill your belly after a long walk.
Peameal Bacon - if you haven't noshed on a sandwich than you're really missing out on one of the most satisfying lunches in town.
One of Chris's favorite beer bars in the city. It's gorgeous and a perfect place to see Little Italy. Stop in for a pre-drink or a nightcap.
A real dive bar, with a really good beer list.
