Chris is the person you want in your life for an infinite number of reasons. He is extremely observant and intuitive which will make you feel seen, heard, and will definitely make you laugh. Whether you have known him for a lifetime or passing him in the store aisle, people are naturally drawn to him. He maintains a positive perspective and at the ready to help anyone in need. Raised by his loving parents - Louis and Martha Skinner - and his younger sister and relatives. He is an Arizona native, born in Phoenix, and grew up in Douglas. He's second generation Mexican-American and speaks English and Spanish. The man he is today: Chris is a dedicated Firefighter/EMT - and in the process to be Paramedic certified. Known to be the calm, cool, and collective guy out of his lifelong friends; which developed into a brotherly love. He enjoys exploring the outdoors, camping, traveling, and trying various foods. He has a knack for fixing cars. Has a creative/artistic eye. Runs for miles without hardly breaking a sweat. And he has a special talent for a sense of direction and navigating maps.

Mirvat is a generous, wholehearted woman, through and through. A friend you can trust and will help you in probably the most creative way. Her laugh is contagious and she enjoys comic relief. The youngest of five siblings, and was raised by her loving parents - Wasim and Lily Farah. While she was born in Chicago, she grew up in Tempe and truly loves Arizona's amazing wonders. She's first generation Palestinian-American and speaks English, Arabic and some Spanish. The woman she is today: A loving Aunt to 11 nieces and nephews, family is a priority. Mirvat values the importance of education and blazed the trails as an Arizona State Sundevil; the first in her family to obtain a Master's Degree. Currently she is a manager at an EdTech company. Organizing is one of her many skills. A creative at heart and a thoughtful gift giver. Someone you can confide in. She relies on daily yoga, meditation, and her intuitiveness. Believes music truly is a universal language. She likes curating her own recipes, sometimes combining both Mexican and Middle Eastern ingredients. Thrives when traveling to spend time in nature. Loves plants and living creatures. A fur-mom to two purrfect cats. And she has a special talent of imitating any accent.

Complete strangers fall in love at a gas station, a story which could inspire the next Romantic Comedy. It’s OUR story! One late evening in 2017, their worlds collided at a time and place they couldn't have imagined. At a time two twenty-somethings are finding their path in life, a quick interruption in the day-to-day. What would have been a 5-minute stop was actually a stop that changed their lives forever. Passing though the city of Phoenix brought two hearts together. Chris was visiting from Tucson that weekend. After a night of visiting with friends, he later made a run to a nearby gas station. Similarly, on her way home, Mirvat needed to make a stop at QuickTrip [aka QT]. She insisted on going to that particular gas station, which was further from where she was but closer to home - also both their favorite!. After getting the gas pump started, she went inside to find a quick snack and ended up getting more than she ever anticipated. He approached her with a friendly hello, which led to effortless conversations that felt familiar, reassuring, genuine, and connected. Without hesitation, Chris shared with Mirvat that he felt they were soulmates. It was a mere glimpse into the future which became true. A short time after meeting, they decided life only made sense if they went about it together. Falling in love with a stranger was something they always both desired. Who's to say that moment at QT is the only reason they are together today. They know it could have happened anywhere and yet the universe waited until that perfect moment. With individual journey's preparing them for their journey together as partners. Words cannot describe it...call it destiny...hard to believe...lucky...or divine alignment...they call it SOULMATES IN LOVE.
