Both the ceremony & reception will be hosted at The Cellar @ The Hotel Salem - 209 Essex St, Salem MA, 01970. Once you arrive at the hotel you will take the elevator down to the basement. We promise it's not too spooky!
Please arrive by 5pm (sharp) as we need everyone seated before the ceremony starts. Cocktail hour will follow at 6pm and reception at 7pm.
Your invitation and online RSVP will detail who you may bring with you to the wedding. We have carefully planned & budgeted to host a small intimate wedding, so please help us bring our vision to life!
NO, please plan to turn off your phones during the ceremony (estimated 5-6PM). You can take pictures during cocktail hour & reception.
You can book a room at The Hotel Salem (I know, super convenient!). If you prefer to stay elsewhere there are a number of hotels in downtown Salem, including a Hampton Inn (2 stars), Hawthorne Hotel (3 stars), and The Merchant (4 stars).
The easiest way to get to Salem is by car, but it's also accessible by train from North Station in Boston. If you're flying in, Boston Logan Airport (BOS) is the closest airport to Salem. From there you can take the Silver Line SL3 to Chelsea and then transfer to the commuter rail to get to Salem.
The Hotel Salem does not have reserved or validated parking, but there is street parking and a number of parking lots in the area. For staying overnight we recommend the MBTA garage which is $5/day and only a 5 minute walk from the venue. The MBTA garage uses the PaybyPhone app while other parking in the area typically uses the Passport app. You can find an interactive map as well on the city of Salem's website: https://www.salemma.gov/parking/pages/parking-rates-locations-hours
