Miriam and Lewis met here for their very first time. It's in the winter gardens and right on the Hudson in Battery Park area, great for a west side wander or if you are going to visit the 9/11 memorial. (The 9/11 memorial is beautifully done, be prepared to spend time and bring tissues.)

NYC has so many museums and it can be hard to choose just one. The Whitney is a beautiful Museum in the historic west village neighborhood right on the water (definitely bum around this neighborhood). This contemporary art museum is the perfect size to take in current showings and art classics, without getting museum burn out. Have a drink and bite on the roof!

This long standing farmers market is an NYC staple. Open on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, browse the beautiful stands, sample, get cider donuts and a hot beverage. Nothing is more fall in New York like a stroll through this central area and taking in some adjacent neighborhoods.
The Sahadi's store has been around since the late 1800's selling delicious Lebanese and middle eastern goods. It's charm, service and great product are still famous to this day and right there on Atlantic avenue. Stop by for a snack, some pistachios and a cold drink! We love it, everyone is so friendly and they let us bring our dogs in!
More famous pizza, this time in Dumbo area. Prepare for a line but worth the wait, you might see Beyonce and Jay-Z there!
