Travel Note

Transport to the Wedding Venue

We are not currently planning on running a shuttle to the event, as our guests will be coming from too many different places. Please be prepared to either drive, carpool, or use a rideshare app. MAKE SURE TO ENTER "GEORGE MASON'S GUNSTON HALL" OR FULL ADDRESS INTO GPS, THERE IS A COMPLETELY UNRELATED ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ALSO CALLED GUNSTON HALL!

Airports

There are two airports in the area, Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). DCA is a shorter distance to the wedding venue and recommended hotel (about 20 minutes difference, depending on traffic).

Hotel

Embassy Suites by Hilton Springfield

We have a hotel block at the Embassy Suites. The discounted rate will expire on July 14th. This hotel is about 20 minutes away from Gunston Hall. Note that our venue in the middle of both state park and farm land, so this is about as close as we can get.
