Why did you choose a yacht for a reception?

Answer

We are both ocean and boat lovers! What better way to start the adventure of life together than on a fabulous yacht with those we love!

Adult only reception? What's up with that?

Answer

The only kids that will be on board are in the bridal party. Otherwise, 21+ years old only please. We absolutely love children and are sorry we can't have everyone on the yacht. As much as we would love to, the nature of where we chose to celebrate is not the most kid friendly spot. Moreover, aside from an anticipated wild party, there will be alcohol on board and we know some may not appreciate alcohol near their kiddos so we decided it is best that we hold an adult-only reception. Don't like it? We completely understand if you do not agree, and opt out of attending.

Will the yacht be docked during the party?

Answer

No! The yacht will take a beautiful 4 hour tour around the Newport Harbor. Once on the boat, you will not be able to disembark until we reach the dock again. Please keep this in mind in case you were hoping to leave early or have health issues.

What if I get sea sick?

Answer

The yacht cruises at about 1.5 knots (less than 2mph), this is a very slow and steady pace. If you are feeling a bit sea sick, we will make sure to have Dramamine on board. We are confident you will feel fine and have a fabulous time!

Will there be alcohol on the yacht?

Answer

Yes, there will be 3 cash bars, along with bartenders mixing your favorites and serving them up! There is an ATM on the dock, near the boarding area of the yacht. Below are the prices for the cash bar: Champagne & Beer ($7), Wine ($8), Well Beverages ($9), Premium Beverages ($12). If you plan on bringing your own flask, I am not mad at that! We ask that you please not flaunt the flask and keep it on the down low as no alcohol is supposed to be brought on the yacht. Drink responsibly, please!

I am a vegan/ vegetarian, will there be food for me?

Answer

Absolutely! Please be sure to let us know (when you RSVP through this site) if you need a vegan or vegetarian entree so we may accommodate you :)

Can we bring gifts on the yacht?

Answer

No! Due to Homeland Security, gifts are not permitted on the boat. We will have an envelope box for monetary gifts, as well as the Registry on this site! Your presence is our present, thank you for the love and support you show by attending, so any gift you give is so greatly appreciated!

Where do I park?

Answer

Lido Marina Parking Garage @ 3434 Via Lida in Newport Beach, CA 92663. Heads up: There is a $10 parking fee to park in this garage.

How will I find the yacht, there are so many yachts at the marina?

Answer

After parking in the suggested Lido Marina Parking Garage, take a short walk to the marina and a attendant will direct you to the dock. Once dockside, you will see a signage table where you will go down a ramp and board the Eternity yacht.

What if I am late to the boat?

Answer

Don't be late. If you are late, you will miss the boat. Please be at the marina by 5:45pm to allow you enough time to board the yacht.

Are you having a church ceremony? Is it okay to go to the yacht and not the church or visa versa?

Answer

Yes! Lord willing, we are getting married at Archangel Coptic Orthodox Church @ 4405 W Edinger Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92704 at 3pm. We are also excited to exchange vows on the yacht! It is totally okay to attend one event that day if you can not make it to both. We ask if you plan on attending the reception, that you please RSVP on this site!
