Maid of Honor? Or maid of dishonor…. Just kidding! Miriam & Miriam have had over two decades of experience dealing with each other… starting from marching band rehearsals in Miriam S’ garage after school, many failed Zumba classes (we’ll let you guess who), and finally getting engaged together! You ever want a good laugh? Just ask either Miriam to show you the photo ammo they have of each other… there’s some golden gems in there that will require a long winded story of how we got to where we are together… although most of those pictures will probably be of them sitting on a couch, *attempting* to watch a movie. Because they’re toxic trait is saying they’re down to hangout, then falling asleep on the couch together at 9pm.

Fadi…. Fady? Frabi? Frabbicino? These are the long lists of names my brother has been called before. However you want to pronounce his name, he’s been there for me from the start. Whether it was from sharing a twin sized bed and waking up with his foot in my face or always knowing I can count on him for anything. Though we’re not as physically close as we once was I still know he’s a guy I can confide in for anything and I’m grateful to have a brother whose taken care of me when the going got rough.

The infamous twins…. Or so we’re told. Miriam and Mary can never go anywhere together without someone asking if they’re twin sisters. This curiosity would normally be valid… except the fact that Mary happens to be 7 inches taller than Miriam and quite literally towers over her. Nevertheless…. Miriam was always stuck wearing the highest pair of heels at every family gathering to avoid the jokes about how her cousin 5 years younger than her is also more than 5 inches taller than her.

Ahhhh yes the other best man. Mina Demian…. The oldest brother of the groom (Yes he exists). and yes the groom has 2 brothers before you ask that question. Whether we like to admit it or not, we all know Mina’s heart beats the loudest for his brother, snoopy. And what we know even more is how snoopy will always show more affection to the groom than mina. However mina is notorious for always being there for you without question when you least expect it and that’s what the groom values most. From being the bully older brother growing up to actually being someone I look up to now is something not many others can say about someone… cheers!

Monica’s connection to Miriam is the most unique. They were forced to spend holidays together for over 5 years before they actually decided to sit down and have a conversation…. It was game over after this. Boring family gatherings turned into crazy family functions that included lots of games and clowning on each other. They went from bi-annual holidays to seeing each other frequently. They coordinated outfits to make sure they were always on the same page, and would always defend each other when they were harassed by their older cousins. Maybe that’s why Monica became a lawyer? Either way.. that’s definitely why Miriam will keep her around ;) Hit her up for all of your lawyer needs (which hopefully are none).

From being one of the first people to know about me and Miriam's relationship to playing basketball at the gym. I know our bond will never be broken. I also want to thank you for allowing me to steal Miriam away from you and your family..... and you are welcome. ;)

Heidi is Miriam’s long lost Egyptian sister. She was the only person at work who understood Miriam’s fob jokes and laughed at them…. And she continues to laugh at them. Is it because Heidi laughs at everything? Or is Miriam just that funny? I think we will go with the latter.. Heidi convinced Miriam to start going to Orange Theory with her over a year ago, and they always carpooled together. What Miriam didn’t know, was that she was signing up for a lifetime of always being late when it was Heidi’s turn to drive. Nevertheless… despite many, many, many, close calls and almost missing multiple classes Miriam decided to keep Heidi around (probably because she laughs at all her jokes), but also because she is one of the few people Miriam can call and wake up at 6am to go workout.

Ah Andrew, no he’s not just Miriam’s cousin…. Little did I think the days of us playing basketball in Coptic League 10 years ago would amount to the brotherhood we've developed. You have been cheering me and Miriam’s relationship on since the beginning of the days and we appreciate you for that. Though you tower over the both of us we think the pros outweigh the cons when deciding to be seen with you in public. Plus your shoe game is pretty solid so it’s good for the pictures.

Veronica…. Is quite literally the life of the party and Miriam’s biggest hype man. Taking a selfie? Send it to Veronica; she’ll make you feel like you belong on America’s Next Top Model. Trying a new restaurant that ended up sucking? Veronica will never make you feel bad about it. Have a booger in your nose? Veronica will tell you it’s the next new fashion statement and you look fine. Need someone to call at 6am? Veronica is the only person that will be awake. That being said… she will also be the only person that falls asleep at 9pm, and throughout Veronica and Miriam’s 10+ years of friendship, Miriam has learned the hard way to ask all of her important and time sensitive questions before 9pm.

For those who don’t know the infamous “popular” pavly story be sure you ask him when you see him out on the dance floor! That story marked the beginning of a relationship that’s lasted 10 years. I know sticking with the groom for that long can’t be easy but you know… everyone has some grey hairs here and there or even a little bit of no hair for that matter

Twenty years ago, one day at church, Marice and Miriam’s Moms quite literally forced them to be friends. Surprisingly.. twenty years later they’re still friends. You will frequently catch them going on walks at 8pm at their local park simply because that is how they avoid their responsibilities. They have a mutually exclusive relationship where they send proof of life text messages once a month so that each of them know the other person is surviving… they’re usually really good at responding for about 5 minutes then will resume the next month. Need career advice? Life advice? Marice is your girl. Her services aren’t cheap however; they will usually include picking her up from her house and grabbing a meal together…. But she’s good company, so it’s an even trade off ;)

Daniel and the groom go way back to when they met in their community college days as what seemed to be the biggest coincidence with how similar their humors are. What became an even greater coincidence is how they managed to register for the same classes 2 semesters after that without even coordinating it…. These two are destined to be brothers for the rest of their lives whether they like it or not

Miriam and Lorena’s relationship has always been on and off… literally. They each have a response time of about 10 days when it comes to calling each other and you can almost guarantee that they will never text each other back. Yet they’ve managed to stay friends after all these years after meeting at a retreat where Lorena would not stop talking to Miriam… because she was clearly the coolest person in the room. They were two peas in a pod after this and have been since then, despite only speaking during their unique business hours between 9 and 10pm.

Honorary…. Let’s not forget that. After speaking with the groom, he mentions “I kinda feel bad for Michael so why don’t we just throw him in there if we have space?” And the rest was history…. Not really.. What really happened is a mere consequence of being the most social and extroverted out of the bunch, being invited to another wedding that’s on the same day… his cousins’ though so no hard feelings there (maybe a little). Nonetheless regardless of how much the groom adores and loves this guy, be sure to tell him how messed up he is at the ceremony!
