Things To Do

So you're making the trip to celebrate with us — we love you for it! Whether your trip is Thursday–Sunday or only for the day, there's plenty to keep you busy. Here's our guide to eating, drinking, and exploring the Lake Oconee area like a local. Please note that this list is not exhaustive and does not include anything for Atlanta proper. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out!
Downtown Eatonton

Downtown Eatonton

Eatonton, GA 31024

About 30 minutes from our venue, the charming small town of Eatonton is well worth an afternoon visit over the weekend. This little town punches well above its size when it comes to history, culture, and outdoor recreation. For a cold one, Bruzze Brewing is a great spot to settle in with a craft beer. And if you're a shopper, the town has a handful of local boutiques worth poking around — check out Holy Cow Leather & Goods, Lake Country Outfitters, and The Artisans Village Art Gallery.

The top pick in the area. An upscale but welcoming restaurant with a seasonally changing menu. The short rib, halibut, and cocktails are consistently praised. Open for dinner nightly and Sunday brunch — a perfect pre-departure meal for out-of-town guests. Reservations strongly recommended.
