We met on a dating website and the thing that stuck out to both of us (about each other) was how much emphasis we put on loving Jesus in our bios. From there, we had our first date at LACMA and halfway through dinner there was an earthquake. Marshall has always said, I knew this was something special when the earth moved while I was with you... ❤️

We had our last day of premarital classes at church and Marshall wanted to celebrate by going on a hike afterwards. Little did I know that at top of the hill, standing at the foot of the cross, he would ask me to marry him and spend forever together. (What made it even more special is that God had led Marshall to that cross a year and a half before, showing him where he needed to be planted when he moved to California... and then God eventually led us to each other.) There was so much joy the day Marshall proposed (and tears, lots of tears!) Our God is so faithful and turns everything around for our good. Our story is one of those examples. ❤️
