What is the Dress Code?

The dress code is "semi-formal." Feel free to embrace your inner "hobbit" with some cottage core (if you know what that is) or wear your Sunday best. This wedding is not costumed, or a LARP. Think of it like this, it's Bilbo's Elventy-First Birthday Party in the Shire. What are you wearing?

When should I arrive at the Venue?

That's a EXCELLENT question, and we would appreciate if folks could try to arrive at 4:00 pm at the latest.

Is this a child-friendly wedding?

Answer

YES! Children are welcome to attend our wedding. Our goal is to have some activities for any children that attend at the reception.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, there will be a bar and drinks available to eligible adults who attend.

What should I do with my phone at the wedding?

Answer

We understand that with all the fantastical imagery you may want to shoot a few pics for "the gram." But we respectfully ask that when it comes to your phone "KEEP IT SECRET, KEEP IT SAFE!", especially in regards to our ceremony. Taking a selfie or two at the reception is understandable and won't raise any eyebrows.
