Who knew when we met 10 yrs ago that we would be getting married in the future?! We were totally living different lives and lost connection only to reconnect years later and find love in each other. Life is funny like that. It was our love for football specifically the Chicago Bears that kicked off the reconnection. Sofi was still living in Texas but was coming home to visit. We went out to Bone Fish for dinner. We were both nervous! We quickly realized that the people we knew each other to be 10 years ago was only on the surface and we were completely different when we got to know each other on a more personal level. Just so happens Sofi was transitioning jobs and moved back to Chicago after 5 years in Houston. We took our time to grow as friends and later became loves. Our energy vibrated easily. We enjoy a lot of the same things such as music, dancing, football, and traveling. We hung out often. Sofi’s extrovertness matched my introvertness. Like puzzle pieces we fit perfectly. I realized that Sofi was the love I had only dreamt about and Sofi will tell you she knew all along she was the one. She was just waiting for me to catch up lol. We Eb and Flow together in life just like the ripples in the water.
