When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
It’s best to allow a buffer time. Please plan to be seated by 4:45 PM. The Ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes, we’re asking that guests dress semiformal.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Invites are addressed to those invited. Guest is listed on the envelope if a plus one was set aside for you. We appreciate your understanding that we’ve chosen to celebrate with those closest to us.

Are children welcome?
Answer
Yes! Children are more than welcome at the ceremony and reception. However, the playlist for the dancing portion of the evening may not be suitable for children. You may message Shawn for any questions or concerns.

Will there be a kids meal option?
Answer
Absolutely! We are providing a kids meal of chicken nuggets, there will be Mac and cheese on the buffet already. Please note on the RSVP card how many children meals are needed, text 814-599-0428 your name and how many children meals are required, or you may do so under the “RSVP” tab on the website. Please save this for those 8 and under. Thank you!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Off street parking is located at the venue.

Is the venue handicap accessible?
Answer
The ceremony is located outdoors in a grassy lawn. Please contact either Shawn or Miranda if you need any accommodations getting to/from your seat at the ceremony. The reception is located indoors and has ramp access. If there are concerns, you’re welcome to text either Shawn or Miranda. We do ask that questions/concerns be asked with enough time to make arrangements if needed.

Will the Ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
While the ceremony will be held outdoors, weather permitting, the reception and dancing will be held indoors. The ceremony is located with trees partially covering the area, however, for your convenience paper fans will be available on the day. You’re welcome to bring an umbrella to provide shade while you wait for the ceremony to begin, however, we kindly ask that you put them away when the ceremony begins.

Do I have to mail my RSVP or can I do so online?

For your convenience we’ve provided you three options. You are more than welcome to RSVP by mail, please allow at least 3 days for it to arrive in time to meet the March 7th, 2025 deadline. You may also RSVP on the website under “RSVP” or you may text 814-599-0428. If you chose to text, please include your full name and the full names of those also attending.

Both will be held at the same venue. The ceremony will be held outdoors, while the reception will be inside. The venue is: Eicher Arts Center 409 Cocalico St Ephrata, PA 17522

What time is the evening reception scheduled to end?

The reception will end at 10:00 PM sharp and cleanup will begin shortly after for those who are willing and able to help.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We’re asking our guests to please enjoy an unplugged ceremony. We’ve hired an excellent photographer that will capture our special day. Please keep phones away during the ceremony. Thank you in advance!
