After meeting in high school, Miranda and Robert became close friends and confidants, sharing secrets and advice, they provided each other with emotional support, and after years of friendship, their relationship blossomed into a romantic one. Coming from two different perspectives, Miranda and Robert quickly learned that compromise and understanding were the tools they needed to forge a lasting bond, and through the years as they grew together they both changed profoundly and for the better. When it seemed like they couldn’t reconcile their differences, they took time away from each other, and both spent time bettering their selves and gaining insight into what they truly wanted and needed, not just from their partner, but from their lives. After spending that time apart, Miranda and Robert came back together and continued their bond with new strength and commitment, willing to hear each other out, and do the hard work required to make a relationship between two people successful and long lasting. Robert proposed to Miranda in the gardens of Augustus overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea upon the Isle of Capri, and they left Italy resolved to finally start their family, content to die by each others side, and excited to live their lives together.
