After initially meeting, we took a while to plan a first date. Due to our schedules not aligning and him being in school, he had finals to study for. But even with that we continued consistently talking through text and phone calls. Discovering that we had a lot of mutual friends and common interests. We never ran out of topics to talk about! The time came, finals were over, and we were able to pinpoint a day to have a first date. In the height of Instagram worthy first dates, we wanted to go with something simple and free from pressure. This allowed us to build a genuine connection and conversation. So, we thought what couldn't be more simple than the bookstore and the mall food court. This took the pressure off of deciding what to eat, which we still struggle with today LOL! We walked around the bookstore for a bit and decided to go grab a bite to eat. We talked for hours and took a walk around. The feeling that you have known someone for so long even when you haven't is so indescribable. From that first date the rest is history! Here we are 8 years later, saying yes to forever. We couldn't be more thankful.
