Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that all of our guests RSVP by May 15, 2019.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We do not have a registry due to the location of our wedding and the need to travel as light as possible in preparation for the event. If you are willing and able to contribute to our life as newlyweds, we ask that you give monetary gifts in the form of cash, gift cards, or contributing to "Our Savings Fund" under the "registry" tab.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you do have a food allergy, please let us know as soon as possible so that we don't have any incidents at the wedding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This is an adult only event.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You cannot bring a date if your invitation did not include a plus one. Please understand that we have a strict guest count.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

See the "travel" page for hotel recommendations. You are not required to book these hotels. We do not have room blocks because there are many hotels around the area and we didn't want to limit anyone's choices. Since it's a holiday weekend, BOOK EARLY!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding falls on the weekend after 4th of July and we are close to many amenities that the Washington D.C. area has to offer. We highly recommend to check out the area and do some sightseeing! Check out this website for things to do: https://washington.org/things-do-washington-dc

When is the best time to book hotels and flights?

Answer

We recommend buying flights about 2-3 months in advance. Reserve your hotel rooms early! Again, this is a holiday weekend and prices will go up closer to the date. With most hotels you can cancel a few days before your stay just in case you change your mind!
