After going through a very rough patch, Miranda got on Tinder as a joke and scrolled across this cute army guy who posted his children to his profile saying “I just want to find someone who will love my kids as much as they love me” and she messaged him. About a week after talking via snapchat, she decided to reach out and meet him. The rest is essentially history! Miranda waited over a year to meet his son Leon and now they have their twin daughters Evelyn and Liberty born in June of 2021.
On December 20th the couple found out they were going to be parents. They announced on Christmas and found out on January 6th it wasn’t just one baby, but two! After a whirlwind twin pregnancy, their daughters, Evelyn and Liberty, joined the party on 6/17/2021, almost 10 weeks earlier than they were due. Leon was incredibly excited to meet his sisters after they spent 5.5 weeks in the NICU.
They had the entire family over for Leon’s 4th birthday and little did Miranda know Luke had more plans than just a birthday. Towards the very end of his party, Luke dropped to his knee in the yard and all Miranda could say was “you did not”. After finally getting a “yes”, they were engaged and Miranda was grinning for the rest of the evening during the craziness that is a toddlers dinosaur birthday party.
