We're getting married!

Our story didn’t begin with love at first sight—it started with pretzels. We met as coworkers at a pretzel shop, going about our shifts like any two people who had no idea what was coming. At first, there wasn’t anything particularly special—except Miranda deciding that Jose was going to be her friend, whether he liked it or not. What started as a one-sided determination turned into a genuine friendship that lasted for years. We laughed, talked, and built something strong without even realizing it. For the longest time, we were just that—friends. Until one day, something shifted. Somewhere between all the conversations and shared moments, we began to see each other differently. What had always been easy and comfortable started to feel deeper, and before we knew it, our friendship had grown into something neither of us expected—but both of us knew was right. The night of the proposal was just as unforgettable. We went out to dinner, and Miranda was convinced we were heading into a normal night with friends. Everything felt routine—until we got home. As she was ready to change into something comfy, Jose’s sister stepped in and led her outside. Waiting there was the most incredible surprise: a beautiful setup with a big sign, flowers, and all of our closest family and friends. In that moment, everything felt overwhelming in the best way—so much love, so much thought—and it led to the easiest “yes” of our lives. From coworkers, to friends, to forever, our story is proof that sometimes the best things grow when you least expect them—and we wouldn’t change a single moment of the journey that brought us here.
