We’re Saying Yes To Forever!

Miranda & Gerry met back in 2018 at one of their favorite events of the year— Soulfest Music Festival in the mountains of northern NH. They saw each other a few more times that year, as they both helped out during youth group events, but didn’t reconnect until later the following year; again at Soulfest in the summer of 2019. They became best friends pretty quickly but agreed that it was best to stay friends, for the time, as God was laying it on both of their hearts that it wasn’t the right time for a relationship. Still their friendship grew deeper in months to come but eventually Miranda left for 3 months to live in Honduras. A place that also held a special spot in Gerry’s heart. Miranda came home to a different world after the infamous virus took place halfway through her trip. However, this allowed them more intentional time to grow their friendship and do ministry together. In the fall of 2020, Miranda threw Gerry a surprise birthday party and the rest is history! And after 2.5 years, Gerry proposed in Honduras on March 19th, 2023 :) Throughout the years, their love for Jesus, mission work, music, helping others, Honduras, the great outdoors, and much more has brought them very close. Miranda will tell you she knew back in the fall of 2019 that they would spend forever together, and though some friends thought she was crazy, she wasn’t wrong. ;) Looking back, there were so many times that they were in the same place at the same time yet didn’t cross paths because their story was written all in God’s timing. Everything fell together, piece by piece, as Gerry has said. Their hearts were meant to come together, so there’s no doubt they are one another’s other half. They credit their lives, and love story, to God. He has been prevalent through it all and they can’t wait to share their special day with you! And they especially can’t wait to spend Eternity with each other!
