We're getting married!

Miranda and German first met through mutual friends in 2017. During German’s senior year and Miranda’s sophomore year at Dallas High School, they became close friends. Miranda was always there to cheer German on at his football games, proudly wearing his #52 jersey. German would drive Miranda to and from school everyday. It became clear that their connection was more than just friendship, and they officially started dating on November 16, 2019. Their relationship blossomed even more as they spent countless hours together during the pandemic and the extra time together only deepened their bond. After German graduated in 2020 and began working at North Sky Communications, Miranda completed her high school education online, graduating early, and now working full-time at the Department of Early Learning and Care One of their favorite traditions became frequent trips to Brookings, Oregon, where German used to live. The small-town charm and stunning ocean views became special to them both. After nearly four years of love and growth, German knew it was time to take the next step. On August 26, 2023, in the town they cherished, with the ocean and beach in the backdrop, German got down on one knee and asked Miranda to marry him. Without hesitation, she said yes! Now, as they look forward to their wedding on August 16, 2025, they are excited to celebrate their love with family and friends at another very special place where Miranda grew up—at her grandparents’ beautiful private park, which is also where her parents were married. It is the perfect setting to begin their next chapter together.
