NEED TO KNOW

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Attire: Semi-formal We kindly ask that you AVOID wearing rust orange. This will be the color of Dave's suit and we want to reserve that for him! For the ladies: Dresses/sundresses and nice separates work great! For the guys: Suits are great, so are dress pants/chinos paired with a button-down shirt! Footwear: You will need to get on/off a ski chair lift. The ceremony and cocktail hour are outdoors on a grass lawn and in mountain terrain, so avoid stilettos unless you want to aerate the grass!

Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

We love your kids, but due to space restrictions we cannot accommodate children unless they're children of the wedding party or immediate family.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Likely very pleasant in the low-mid 70's! However, we'll be at 8200ft in the mountains. We recommend checking the weather for Granby, CO. Make sure to bring layers for potentially chilly evenings or in case of rain! The reception will be indoors.

Question

What time do I need to be at the chairlift?

Answer

Plan to arrive at 2:00pm at the base of the chairlift. Guests will start loading to the ceremony site at 2:00pm. Don't forget to sign the chairlift waiver under the Required Waiver tab! The ceremony will start at 3:00pm. There will also be a shuttle (limited availability) for anyone who can't ride the chairlift.

Question

Can I take photos at the ceremony?

Answer

We will have an "unplugged ceremony" and respectfully request that guests do not take any photos/videos during the ceremony. We invite you to relax, enjoy the moment and the views, and we'll gladly share photos from our wonderful professional photographer with you after the celebration. Feel free to take pictures during the cocktail hour and reception! We'll also have a video camera to pass around at the reception - please ham it up!

Question

I have dietary restrictions. Can I still eat?

Answer

Here are the items we'll have on the buffet: - Prime Top Sirloin, Wild Mushrooms - Roast Breast of Free-Range Chicken, Rosemary & Lemon - Seared Filet of Salmon, Braised Greens - Field Green Salad, Gorgonzola, Toasted Walnuts, Shallot-Thyme Vinaigrette - Penne Pasta Salad, Basil Pesto, Pine Nuts & Parmesan - Marinated Artichoke Heart Salad - Freshly Baked Dinner Rolls, Butter - Sea Salt Roasted Red Potatoes - Basmati Wild Rice - Sauté of Seasonal Vegetable Symphony If you have food allergies, please indicate that on your RSVP.

Question

Do you have any other registries?

Answer

Yes! Under the Registry tab, we have our Zola registry items and a separate registry on MyRegistry.com. Scroll down to the bottom of the registry page to see our other registry. But please remember that celebrating with you on our special day is the true gift!!

Question

Altitude & Alcohol

Answer

Please be aware that due to lower oxygen availability at high altitudes, your body struggles to metabolize alcohol efficiently, leading to faster, more intense feelings of being drunk and impaired coordination. This often makes one drink feel like two or three.
