While celebrating Miranda’s Mad Men themed 26th Birthday in December of 2012, Dan went with a few friends to join the party. That night our paths crossed and our futures changed when Dan met 'the girl in the red dress.' Social gatherings lead to a group date, which then lead to our first official date. By March 2013, we made our relationship official and never turned back.

We planned a trip to Colorado to hike our first 14,000 ft mountain, Gray's Peak in between Denver and Breckenridge. Before the sun rose, we hit the trail ready to conquer the day. Miranda's good friend, Jody, joined us on the adventure and played photographer as the proposal unfolded. Stopping to catch our breath and warm our hands, the sun started illuminating the lush path to the mountain. Dan turned to Miranda saying, "Now is as good a time as ever", pulled out the ring box from his pocket and knelt on one knee. "Miranda, my love, my best friend... Will you marry me?" Overcome with joy, shock and cold fingers, she lovingly answered yes and broke down in tears. The beautiful proposal only made our summit to the top of Gray's Peak that much more special.

Our intimate wedding ceremony will take place at Sapphire Point Lookout just outside of Breckenridge, Colorado. After the ceremony, photos and signing the marriage license we will celebrate with an evening filled with love, laughter and good times at Aurum Food & Wine in Breckenridge.
