We're Getting Married!

No one could have predicted the butterfly effect that came from deciding where to go to school. Chance and Miranda met Miranda's first semester of college at Napa Valley College. She was taking a Philosophy of Law and Society class because of her interest in the class and Chance needed the general education credit. They sat next to each other their first day of class and the unofficial assigned seating continued throughout the semester. It would not be until four years later that their paths would cross again. They had each other on social media over the years. Miranda took a mid-study social media rot break during law school finals and responded to the rare occurrence of Chance posting something on social media. They discovered they were both going to school in Sacramento - he was finishing his final semester at Sacramento State University for mechanical engineering and she was in her second year of law school at McGeorge. After a few months of spending time together every now and then, they officially began dating April 2020. They have built a beautiful life together over the past five years. Their relationship survived the uncertainty of the pandemic, the bar exam, and buying a home . Together they built a loving home and adopted two pitties, Duke and Gemma two cats, Ollie and Boo, and inherited a third cat, Luna. Chance proposed to Miranda in January 2024 at Domaine Carneros. His efforts were almost thwarted when Duke and their friend's dog Calvin were reunited and decided to wreak havoc and get into some coffee beans and Chance stayed up all night with sick dogs. Nonetheless, with the help of Miranda's best friend, he pulled it off and she said YES which came as no surprise. While there have been some bumps and challenges along the way, Chance and Miranda have remained committed to each other and growing a life of love. They cannot wait to share this fun filled day with their friends and family.
