We will be holding our ceremony outdoors in the Secret Garden. Hors d'oeuvres and the reception will be located in the Big Barn. Someone onsite will be sure to direct you and help you find your way!
Yes! For those in need, golf carts will be available to transport you to the ceremony and reception locations.
Semi-formal attire - cocktail dresses and suits are welcome! The ceremony will be outdoors (weather-permitting), and hors d'oeuvres/reception will be located indoors. Feel free to break out your bright colors, pastels, sparkles, airy fabrics, and floral attire! We recommend bringing an umbrella (in case of a light drizzle - we will have a rain plan for a significant downpour) and a layer to wear in the cooler evening hours.
Yes, following the ceremony and family/friends photos, there will be an hour of hors d'oeurves, as well as lemonade and tea. We will also have cornhole and other fun games!
The "Travel" tab on our website provides several hotel recommendations (both near Nashville and near the venue) that are all excellent options.
Yes, our wedding color is lavender!
Never fear, there will be plenty of signs to direct you to the most convenient parking area! Once you reach the large, grassy parking lot, there will be a paved path that leads directly to the Secret Garden. You will pass by the Big Barn (the hors d'oeuvres/reception location) on your left as you make your way to the ceremony. As an additional note, there is a drop-off area directly on the paved path adjacent to the parking lot. This area will also be the pick-up point for those needing golf cart transportation.
We are very encouraged and grateful that vaccine distribution has moved forward so swiftly - most of our family and friends have already been fully vaccinated! As of now, we are not anticipating any significant restrictions for our particular gathering, but are still regularly checking with Miranda's sister, virologist Dr. Laura Powell, to ensure safety. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't be shy to reach out to her at lpowell506@gmail.com
