Hector grew up 1,200 miles away from the love of his life! Never did he know God would place them so close to each other; enough for an opportunity to meet and begin their journey together. Miranda is his best friend and the love of his life and Hector is so grateful to have Miranda and have the opportunity to forge a covenant on February 23rd. We pray you’ll be able to join us.

Miranda and Sully became best friend’s while serving their community on Star 14. One of the nighttime ambulances running through the streets of las cruces. While stopping bleeds and treating tummy aches, Sully and Miranda became more like siblings than friends. Sully kept Miranda in check (we all know how hard that is) he made her feel like family. He also led Hector and Miranda to meet. Prompting her to join bumble even though she was tired of dating. Without sully this wedding would’ve never happened. Even though Sully can’t be here physically, he will be here in spirit. And we will raise a toast to a man serving his country, in far away Korea on deployment, the man of honor. Thank you Sully!

The sweetest human alive! Steph and Miranda were partners on Medic 13, a day shift 911 ambulance in Las cruces NM. All the time they spent fixing everyone else’s problems and laughing at the wild situations they’d find themselves in lead to a beautiful forever friendship.

Alex, the devoted and diligent mother of two and Miranda’s sister in law, became a part of the Volkmar family so long ago when she began dating Joshua Volkmar, that we couldn’t recall the year! She’s always offering a helping hand, great advice, and delicious food.
