Matron of Honor
Heidi is Miranda's older sister by 3 years. Heidi and Miranda grew up to be best friends, until Emma came along, then they became mortal enemies. But they're good now (obviously). Heidi has always been Miranda's role model and has always welcomed her with open arms when she invaded (and basically moved into) all of Heidi's homes in Winona, Hawaii, Lake Tahoe, and River Falls. If you see her at the wedding, buy her a shot and ask her to wrestle (and be prepared to lose).
Best Man
Ryan (also known as Gutty) and Brandon met in college at UWRF. The first time they met each other was in a dark basement, where Gutty was watching Vampire Diaries alone, and Brandon decided to join. That night sparked the beginning of a lifetime friendship. Ever since then, they have bonded in the corner of any bar with dice, cold drinks, and friends. If you see him at the wedding, ask him if Mr. Moises is coming out tonight.
Maid of Honor
Emma is Miranda's younger sister by 3 years. Emma and Miranda filled many childhood years playing Barbies, playing house/dress up, drawing with sidewalk chalk, and making cringe-worthy, MTV-inspired home videos. Emma has always been Miranda's sounding board when she needs to talk -- and always down for a drink. If you see her at the wedding, talk to her about aliens, art, or cartoons and she'll make you feel right at home.
Best Man
Eddie and Brandon met in college at UWRF, when the rivalry between the hockey and football teams was at its highest. As they got to know each other and become friends, they became the glue that brought the two teams together in friendship. They bonded over sports, lifting, and enjoying their “cheat meals” together. If you see him at the wedding, ask him who won the fish fry eating contest.
Bridesmaid
Gabi is Miranda's baby sister, 11 years younger. Miranda was able to practice being a mom at 11 years old and grew a quick attachment to Gabi. Today, they enjoy hanging out on the river at mom and dad's, watching movies, and talking about how quickly Miranda is aging based on her deteriorating knowledge of today's pop culture. If you see her at the wedding, probably leave her alone.. she's an introvert and likes it that way.
Groomsman
Mark is Brandon’s older brother by 9 years. Brandon learned a lot from Mark throughout their childhood, including wrestling in the living room and hitting golf balls off the roof into Walmart parking lots. Brandon’s proudest brotherly moment was when he finally surpassed Mark’s height, and from then on, Brandon became Mark’s “big brother”. If you see him at the wedding, ask him who broke their mom’s Christmas decorations.
Bridesmaid
Kadie and Miranda technically met while they were both working as servers at Belle Vinez Winery in River Falls, but they also went to UWRF together. They shared many heart-warming and also cringey college moments, especially their fabulous Halloween costumes. If you see her at the wedding, talk to her about wine, zodiac signs, or penguins - she will talk for ages.
Groomsman
Casey and Brandon met in 7th grade at Hastings Middle School. They were practically inseparable growing up throughout middle and high school and had sleepovers nearly every night. In fact, it may shock a few Hastings alumni that this wedding is not between Brandon and Casey. They bonded over pasta carbonara, sports, competition between each other, and 1/2 off apps. If you see him at the wedding, hold up your drink and say “L'chaim”.
Bridesmaid
Brooke and Miranda went to middle and high school together in River Falls. They parted ways when they went to college, but not for long because they both transferred to UWRF and became roommates for several years. From noise complaints, to Baxter (Brooke's dog) peeing on Miranda's bed and backpack, to playing Edward-40-Hands alone at home, to singing Disney music, to comforting each other in Broz bathroom, they've been through it all. If you see her at the wedding, she'll probably be crying.. offer her a tissue.
Groomsman
Andrew (also known as Brooks) and Brandon met at rookie camp coming to their first year at UWRF. They immediately bonded over being the “old guys” at camp and being mistaken for the football coaches. From then on, they became college roommates, where they spent more time in the gym than their dorm, and got in heated discussions about lacrosse versus baseball. If you see him at the wedding, walk the other way.
Bridesmaid
Emily and Miranda met at Miranda's brief journey at Winona State University. Emily forced her friendship upon Miranda via Facebook messenger and the rest is history. They took classes together, moved Emily into a new dorm room closer to Miranda, went to the gym together (to sit on the abs mats and gossip), had wine nights, and fooled some RA's into thinking they did not have alcohol in their dorms. They went on to become roommates after college in Uptown, Minneapolis, where their first apartment burned down after living there for 2 weeks, then moved to a new apartment where the new apartment had a flooding incident and also almost burned down at one point. If you see her at the wedding, ask her about our burned down apartment, her travels, or talk to her about Taylor Swift and you'll have a best friend for life.
Groomsman
Brady and Brandon met in Brandon’s sophomore year of high school, while Brady was his football and lacrosse coach. Brady quickly became a mentor for Brandon, not only for sports, but also for valuable life lessons.. which were usually direct quotes from superhero movies or song lyrics. One of Brandon’s fond memories with Brady was his first time hearing the Bohemian Rhapsody in the car, which shocked Brady enough to restart the song and show off his air drum solo with such intensity, it almost led to a crash. If you see him at the wedding, bring up Star Wars or Queen and he will literally talk to you all night.. seriously.. ALL NIGHT.
Personal Attendant
Sam and Miranda also met at Miranda's short journey at Winona State University. Sam was actually the first person she met when she moved into the dorms, and lived right across the hall from each other. They went through some very interesting experiences while trying to meet new friends and get invited to parties - which was often a fail. But they made the most of their time there by eating way too much at the dining hall, carrying their mattress into the other's dorm and having a sleepover, and wearing sweatpants over their outfits to house parties and shoving them in the bushes before going inside. If you see her at the wedding, ask her about her travels! She's been to some amazing places and has done some incredible things.
Personal Attendant
Sally and Miranda met through hockey in elementary school. Their older sisters were best friends and they also quickly became best friends. Their childhoods mostly took place in a hockey arena, playing hockey or watching their sisters play hockey. Sally went on to Stout, where she continued to play hockey, but on her off time, her and Miranda would party in Menominee or in River Falls at Big Red. She can't make it to the wedding unfortunately but still deserves to be featured :)
Usherette
Andrea is married to Eddie, which is how Miranda and Andrea met. Andrea quickly became a close friend of Miranda and her go-to Bachelor-watching partner. If you see her at the wedding, ask her what a "whatcha-ma-call-it" is.
Usherette
Jordan is engaged to Ryan (Gutty), which is how Miranda and Jordan met. They also quickly became friends as soon as they met. Jordan and Miranda enjoy spending their time finding speakeasys or just going to any restaurant and getting a martini with some good food. If you see her at the wedding, ask to see her hands.. they're so tiny.
Officiant
Kimberly has been monumental in Miranda and Brandon's relationship. Brandon bartended at Kimberly's restaurant, Lucille's, in Prescott and Miranda joined the team as a bartender a year later. Kimberly is a hard working, thoughtful, loyal, and generous friend (and boss). If you see her at the wedding, please get her a drink... she doesn't usually get this much time off and she needed it.
Ring Bearer
Brandon's nephew (Mark and Dawn's youngest son). He's a sweet little Sonic the Hedgehog loving kiddo.
Flower Girl
Miranda's sweet little niece (Heidi and Mason's daughter). She will be almost 2 years old at our wedding!
