Even though we went to the same middle and high school and shared so many of the same friends, we somehow never crossed paths in the way we were meant to until years later. Once life finally brought us together, everything just felt easy. What started as casual hangouts quickly became the best part of our days. Somewhere between the late night conversations, laughing over the smallest things, and feeling so comfortable around each other, we realized this was becoming something much bigger than either of us expected. Our first date in November 2019 is still one of our favorite memories. We spent the night eating tacos, talking for hours under the stars, and feeling completely at ease with each other from the very beginning. Everything felt natural, familiar, and special, like we had known each other forever. Since that night, we have done life side by side. We have traveled to new places, navigated long distance, celebrated milestones, faced challenges, and taken huge steps together, including moving to Atlanta to start a new chapter of our lives. Through every season, we have continued choosing each other again and again. Then came the proposal, one of the most special moments of our lives. Under the Alaska night sky, surrounded by snow, stars, and complete stillness, we said yes to forever. It was quiet, emotional, beautiful, and everything we could have dreamed of. Now we are counting down the days until we get to celebrate with all of the people we love most. We cannot wait to start this next chapter together as husband and wife.
