NCAR or Chautauqua Park hike
A relatively easy hike that we often start at NCAR (free and ample parking) and head to Chautauqua
Pearl Street Mall
The site of our first real Colorado date! This walking mall is about 10 minutes from the venue and has views of the famous Boulder Flatirons, as well as numerous shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants.
Jungle
A delicious tiki-inspired cocktail bar on the Pearl Street Mall. They also have tasty bites and wonderful mocktails.
Avanti Food and Beverage, Boulder
This awesome food hall is on the Pearl Street Mall and has food options to make the whole gang happy, as well as a beautiful rooftop eating area. Mira and Liam's favorite menu item is the Forager pizza from New Yorkese, with prosciutto added.
Celestial Seasonings
While tours are no longer offered, you can enjoy their lovely tasting room and adorable gift shop.
Hapa Sushi Grill and Sake Bar
One of Liam and Mira's favorite go-tos for sushi, located on the Pearl Street Mall. They also have a great happy hour.
Savannah Bee Company
One of our first Colorado dates included the mead tasting here! Delicious honey and cool bee-related products on the Pearl Street Mall.

Incredible artisanal cocktails abound here! Very close to the Pearl Street Mall
Avery Brewing Company
Awesome big facility with lots of beer and food options.
Sanitas Brewing Company - Boulder, CO
A very cool brewery with a tasty taco truck on the premises. Enjoy your brews from the patio or the retro gondola booth they put on the property.
Bear Peak
If you are feeling ambitious, this steep climb is the place to hike! You can start this hike either from Shanahan Ridge trailhead, which will make for a more strenuous and quick approach to the incline, or via Eldorado canyon for a longer and more gradual climb.
The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse
A gorgeous artistic building in the heart of Boulder, and a gift from the sister city of Dushanbe. Lots of tea, pastries, and yummy bites.
Twenty Ninth Street
A nice walking mall close to the venue with lots of shops and restaurants.
Boulder Creek Path
Enjoy this beautiful paved walking path that follows the Boulder Creek, very close the wedding venue!
Rocky Mountain National Park
A gorgeous national park about an hour from the venue in Estes Park. Offers amazing trails and views, or just a scenic drive. Please note that a timed reservation may be needed to enter the park.
Peak to Peak Highway
A 55-mile driving route in the Nederland region (starting about 30 minutes from the venue) with stunning views.
Meow Wolf Denver's Convergence Station
Incredible interactive art exhibit in the heart of Denver. Definitely budget a few hours here to check things out! Consider carpooling if possible since parking is $15 per car.
Stanley Hotel
The one and only hotel in Estes Park that inspired The Shining! It offers fun bars and cafes, as well as ghost tours you can book.
Colorado Cherry Company at Lyons
A great spot in Lyons to find souvenirs or enjoy cider, coffee, and pie!
