Nestled in the heart of the North Carolina Sandhills, Pinehurst Resort has been welcoming guests since 1895. Known as the Cradle of American Golf, the 2,200-acre resort offers access to its famed golf courses, along with the award-winning Spa, resort-style amenities and wellness classes. While we do not have a room block here, it is an excellent choice for guests looking for something special. The resort offers a variety of accommodations: • The Carolina – The resort's grand flagship hotel, welcoming visitors for more than a century. • The Magnolia – A historic inn dating to 1896, ideal for smaller groups or anyone wanting a more intimate stay. • The Manor – Originally opened in 1923 and renovated into a contemporary hotel with classic charm. • Villas & Condos – The Carolina Villas feature four separately keyed guest rooms, making them great for groups, while the two- or three-bedroom Condos give families plenty of space and nature views. For guests who prefer more space or flexibility, there are plenty of vacation rental options throughout the Pinehurst/Southern Pines area on Airbnb and Vrbo. You'll find everything from cozy 1-bedroom condos to spacious 6-bedroom homes, perfect for groups traveling together or families wanting extra room. This can be a great way to find something that fits your budget and travel style. A quick tip: Please book within Pinehurst or Southern Pines. Nearby towns can be farther away than they appear on the map.
Flight
The closest airport is Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), located about an hour's drive from Pinehurst. It's the easiest way for out-of-town guests to reach us.

Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is another option, about a 2.5 hour drive to Pinehurst.

If you're flying into Raleigh-Durham (RDU) or Charlotte (CLT), we recommend renting a car or booking transportation in advance. Uber and Lyft are available, but rides can be hard to find during off-peak hours, so please plan ahead.
