Some places to eat, drink, sleep, and play in West Seattle, Washington.

We recommend checking airbnb if you are planning to stay in West Seattle. While there are no hotels or B&Bs local to us, there are plenty in other areas of Seattle if you want that experience. Aside from West Seattle we recommend staying in Fremont, Ballard or downtown proper by Pike Place Market.

Sunfish

2800 Alki Avenue Southwest, Seattle, WA 98116

Our favorite fish and chips restaurant, it's affordable, on the water, and run by adorable Greek twins.

Luna Park Cafe

2918 Southwest Avalon Way, Seattle, WA 98126

Our favorite brunch spot! Very 1950's themed down to the juke box. Best bloody mary in Seattle (and milkshakes!)

Il Nido

2717 61st Avenue Southwest, Seattle, WA 98116

A lovely, albeit upscale, Italian restaurant by the water in West Seattle. We particularly like going here for cocktails and appetizers, but their pastas are fantastic if you're famished.

Lincoln Park

8011 Fauntleroy Way Southwest, Seattle, WA 98136

We love to go here for walks with our dog on Sundays (right after the West Seattle Farmers' Market), be sure to take the stairs down to the water and route up to get a veggie burrito from Taquitos Feliz while you're at it.

West Seattle Sunday Farmers Market

This takes you to a fun neighborhood in West Seattle, with lots of fun stores to pop into (antique mall of West Seattle is a personal fave.)

Vashon Island

Vashon, WA 98070

If you are staying a little longer and up for a day trip, we recommend taking the ferry over to Vashon Island. Or Bainbridge Island! July is prime time for Orca watching.
